Charles "Charlie" Robert Adams

Charles “Charlie” Robert Adams, 81, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Wednesday, July 26, 2017. A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 10:30am at Northridge Baptist Church with Rev. Grady Mimbs and Rev. John Sheeley officiating. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 9:30am until service time at the church. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Macon, 31201.

Charles was born in Jones County, Georgia to the late Merritt A. and Mavis L. Cardell Adams. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Harold J. Adams and Miriam Adams Tarpley. Charles was retired from Inland Container Corporation and a member of Northridge Baptist Church and the Faith Sunday School Class. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Victoria Enfinger Adams; children, Janis A. Kaleta (Leonard) of Perry, Jeffrey Robert Adams (Sherri) of Atlantic Beach, FL, Jimmy O. Land (Susan) of Gray, Vickie L. DuPriest (Scott) of Knoxville and Michael B. Land (Linda) of Gray; grandchildren, Autumn Malone, Heather Bowers, Ashley Waters, Zachary Adams, Brittney Land, Nikki Land Jensen (Tyler), Jacob Land, Lindsey DuPriest, Chase DuPriest and Chirice Harris; great grandchildren, Ari Malone, Abel Malone, Faith Bowers, Bailey Bowers, Kaleigh McQueen, Kolson McQueen, Khloe Matthews, Noah Land and Alex Harris; brother, Lawrence W. Adams (Ann) of Macon; sister-in-law, Rojean Adams of Macon; and several nieces and nephews.
