Dr. Charles Dallis, 81, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 17, 2016. A Celebration of his Life will be held at 11:00 AM Monday in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Marva Cleveland will officiate. The family will greet friends from 5 until 7 PM Sunday at the funeral home and asks that those who wish, make donations to Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Lambda Phi Chapter, in Memory of Charles Dallis, P. Dr. Dallis was born in Atlanta, Georgia the son of the late Dorothy Welch Dallis and Clyde Dallis. He was the widower of Florence Mae Sellers and was a United States Army veteran. Dr. Dallis received his doctorate from the University of Georgia, was a professor at Fort Valley State University and a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Lambda Phi Chapter, Macon.
Dr. Dallis is survived by his children, Debbie and Cynthia Dallis both of Macon; grandson, Jonathan Dallis of Macon.
