

He was born in Macon, GA to William Cecil Dover and Veda Bullock Dover. He worked for the Georgia Forestry Service and was also the owner of Dover's Pest Control.
Charles was an avid fan of car shows and rebuilding cars. He loved watching sports, especially Georgia Tech and the Georgia Bulldogs. He enjoyed spending time outdoors with his beloved cat, Smokey, and relaxing at home while watching television with his favorite cat, Presley. These quiet moments brought him great happiness.
Above all, Charles was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother. He treasured the time spent with his family and leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering devotion.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Sandra Dover; his children, Jeff (Kelly) Dover, Greg (Repkha) Dover, and Tonya (Freddie) Evans; his grandchildren, Jordan(Kristen) Dover, Savannah (Kaleb) Rogers, Rex Evans, and Reece Evans; his brothers, Everett (Vicki) Dover and Robert (Cathy) Dover; and his stepchildren, Rene (Perry) Foy, Deborah Perkovich, and Lynn (David) Foster. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Charles will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.
A Celebration of his life will be held Saturday, July 18th at 2:00 P.M. at Snow's @ Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Donnie Baker officiating. The family will greet friends from 2:00 P.M. until service time. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.
