Charles Cecil Jackson, 79, passed away February 23, 2023. A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 27, 2023 at 3:30 p.m. in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Reverend Paul Dziadul officiating. The family will greet friends from 2:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Mrs. Glenda Jackson.
Charles was born in Calhoun, Georgia to the late William P. Jackson and Lois Watson Jackson, and was preceded in death by his brother, Douglas McArthur Jackson; and granddaughter, Jennifer Lee Jackson.
Charles is survived by his wife of 61 years, Glenda Brooks Jackson; sons, Charles Ernest Jackson (Janet), Christopher Lee Jackson (Bev), and Todd Allen Jackson (Kim); sisters, Sue Elliott (Jerry), and Gloria Fay Jackson; brother, Jimmy Jackson; five grandchildren, Charles Randall, Sara, Hailey, Camilla, and Chelsea; ten great grandchildren; three nephews, Brian, Steve, Perry, and Chucky; niece, Jamie; close friends, Jimmy and Janet McCallum, and Carol Baker.
