Charlotte L. Hatcher Lucas, 95, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2025. There will be a Graveside Service in her honor on Friday, March 28, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. in the Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Reverend Dr. Christopher D. O'Bryant officiating. The family will greet friends in the funeral home from 12:30 P.M. until 1:45 P.M.
Charlotte was born January 27, 1930, to the late Jack and Lillian Hatcher in Chester County, Pennsylvania. She was predeceased by: two children, Kenneth A. Lucas and David B. Lucas; her brother, John, and sisters, Frances and Lillian. She was a retired Registered Nurse working for the Medical Center of Central Georgia. Charlotte loved her family, knew how things needed to be, and had a strong sense of faith that was important to her. A member of St. Luke Baptist Church, Charlotte humbly wore her faith on her sleeve.
Ms. Lucas is survived by: her son, Mark O. Lucas; daughter, Cynthia L. Lucas; grandchildren, Damar Winn (Jeanelle) and Mustapha Lucas; three great granddaughters, and a host of other loving relatives.
