Connie Whitehurst Bryant, 70, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2016. A Celebration of her life will be on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel Mausoleum of Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Dr. Tim Bagwell and Beth Dunwoody officiating. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. to service time at the Mausoleum. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to the Children’s Hospital Navicent Health, 888 Pine Street, Macon GA 31201.
Connie was born in Charleston, South Carolina to the late Burdick and Augusta Whitehurst, Jr. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Laurie Morrison, two sisters; Sandra Asbell and Elvie Haynes. Connie was retired from Robins Air Force Base. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, sister and aunt.
Connie was a wonderful caregiver and enjoyed helping others.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Bryant of Macon, son; Andy Johns (Steve Hamlin) of Macon, brother; Don Whitehurst of DE, step-children; Patrick (Shelly) Bryant, Sheffield (Patty) Bryant, Meg (Kenny) Davenport and several step grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
