Cynthia Dawn-Boyd was born on July 1, 1972 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the proud parents of James Dawn and Irma Hartley-Guster. Cynthia departed this life and gained her heavenly wings on April 15, 2022. Cynthia moved to Macon, Georgia in the early 80’s where she attended the Bibb County School System. She was an alumni of Northeast Highschool, class of 1990, and she also attended Macon State College.
Cynthia was a devoted employee for Wal-Mart for 20 plus years, where she worked her way up to becoming a Human Resource Manager. It was a position she held dear to her heart and she loved helping her associates during any time of need. Especially being a mentor towards young adults within the company.
Another thing that she held dear to her heart was being a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. There was nothing that she wouldn’t do for her family and friends. And although she was quiet and reserved, she had a great sense of humor and loved to have fun. Cynthia was preceded in death by her husband Corey Boyd, and grandparents Samuel Dawn, Francis Juniel, Frank Hartley, and Ida Hartley.
She leaves to cherish memories with her father James Dawn of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and mother Irma (Bruce) Guster of Macon, Georgia. Her one brother, Kevin (Stephanie) Hartley of Camden, Arkansas. Her three sisters, Shekonia Guster of Macon, Georgia, Brittany Dawn of Tampa, Florida and Tia (James) Banks of Allen, Texas. Devoted nieces Janaee Starling, DeAsia Starling, Janaya Dawn, Jamya Dawn, Anijah Dawn, Jazlyn Banks and Briana Hartley. Committed nephews Jaylen Hudgens, Brycen Guster, Kevon Hartley and Jaiden Banks. And one great nephew Devan Hartley; and a host of aunties, uncles, relatives and friends.
