Cynthia "Cyn" Jane Smith passed on August 8, 2026, at the age of 71, having been born on October 8, 1954. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date to be announced by the family. Cyn was born in Macon, Georgia the daughter of the late Glenda and Charles E. Ware. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Theresa Childs and Charles Ware and her former husband, James R. Smith. Cyn was retired from the Bibb County Department of Family and Children's Services and was a nail technician and stain glass artist. She went to Lanier High School and loved playing volley ball. Music and motorcycles were her life.
Cyn is survived by her son, James "Ryan" Smith (Sarah Smith); sister, Stephanie Pierce (Sherman); brother, Dwight Hampton (Mary); serveral nieces and nephews; and all of her extended children to whom called her "Ma".
