Dana was one of the first people I met when walking in the doors at KaMin. From that moment, we were instant friends. I cannot remember a time when we were around one another and didn’t laugh. She had a way of making everyone around her smile with joy. I will always treasure her friendship and will miss her dearly. My love and prayers to Joel, Haleigh, Sam, Ethan and family.

Thank you for sharing Dana with us.  Her curley red hair,  crazy sense of humor and infectious personality endeared her to many.

I hated to hear that Dana passed.  We went to school together.  Dana was always bubbly and laughing.  She will certainly be missed.  I pray that all of her family and loved ones will find comfort in the coming days and months.  It will be hard but lean into the Lord and He will provide you comfort.

Dear Joel and Family,
Dana touched so many lives.  She is in some of my favorite memories during the time that I worked at KaMin.  She was such a compassionate and fun-loving person who always brought a smile to my face.   One of her favorite conversations was talking about Haleigh.  She was elated when I met Haleigh at the dentist's office, and we often discussed our beautiful daughters and our grandchildren.  We shared a lot of photos and laughs in the process.
The mark that Dana left is a great one, and because of this she will never really be gone.  Those who love us never go away. I hope you know that even during this dark time, Dana will always be with you 
in spirit.   Please accept my deepest sympathy as I wish you peace and comfort during this difficult time.  God bless.

Dana began working for Huber during a period when I was not.  The day we first met in 2004 or 2005, however, forever defined Dana’s compassionate and empathetic nature for me.

Dana was Marketing Director Gayle Blinsmon’s secretary, and I was assigned the small office behind Dana’s desk.  A little before 10:00 my first morning back at Huber, Dana came hurrying into my office when she heard me sob, “Oh, no” into the phone!  When I explained to her that a friend had called to tell me the husband of one of our close friends wasn’t able to wake her a few minutes earlier and had just called 911, Dana gave me a comforting hug.  

Although we had been strangers a couple of hours earlier, we formed a bond that morning that has lasted all these years. She and her KaMin co-worker Robin came to see me a few months ago, and the 3 of us laughed and laughed together.   I wish I had thought to tell Dana how much her kindness that first day had meant to me.

Dear Joel, Ethan,Haleigh,Chris, Sam and the rest of the family. 

We have had more phone conversations than visits in recent times, and it breaks our hearts that we could not even get a good hug or squeeze in.  We know her selfless commitment to family and friends.  Dana was always ready and willing to make it just a little bit, or a great deal better.  So grateful that you shared so many pictures that take everyone who knew her back to those special times.  If we can do anything, just call.

I am so sorry for your loss of Dana at such a young age.  My thoughts and prayers are with you, your children, grandbabies and family during this sad time.  I pray for God to give you the strength and understanding needed to navigate the difficult days ahead. 

Not soon after joining KaMin, I came to discover Dana’s sense of humor.  She was taking pictures at a work birthday celebration.  I made a funny face and she snapped a picture.  The next day to get to work, Dana had posted that picture with a caption “have you seen me”  everywhere….to include the men’s restroom.  I saw it and busted out laughing.  That April Fool’s day Dana somehow got my car keys and moved my car to a different parking space.  End of the day she had people gather around and watch me head to my car and not finding it where I had I originally parked it.  I looked back at the office and there was Dana with a grin I will always remember.  She always kept me and everyone at the office smiling.  I’ll miss ya girl!

﻿I am so saddened by Dana’s passing. She was an incredible person who made everyone around her feel special. Her KaMin family will miss her big smile and nonstop energy. The time we had with her will be cherished and she will always hold a special place in the hearts of our KaMin teammates in Macon and around the world. Dana - you were a one of a kind my friend.   We would fuss and sometime cuss about stuff going on at work and no matter how frustrated I would be at the start of our discussions by the end of it you would have me doubled over in laughter.  I am sure for months to come when something comes up my first thought will be I gotta call Dana about this.   You will always be a bright spot in my life and heart.   Your laughter and joy were infectious.

Joel and family - I pray they Lord will uphold you all in the days to come and that the tears of grief will turn to tears of laughter at the memories.   I pray the Lord will hold you all in the palm of His hand as He is now holding Dana.

I knew Dana only for the last year and more recently in the past 2 months as a colleague who helped me in my new role at KaMin. Dana seemed like a laidback and happy person who enjoyed life. I am shocked and saddened especially for her immediate family who will miss her. My thoughts & prayers go to you all. May she rest in peace. 

Dearest Dana - you are missed and you are loved.  In the short time that I knew you, you made me laugh and were just so sweet and fun to be around.  I enjoyed our one-on-one time in my office listening to the Town Hall Meeting together.  That was my last encounter with you and I'll always remember and cherish it. I am so grateful to have had such a special person in my life as Dana.  We loved to laugh and crack jokes together.  She was always such a great joy to be around.  My heart is broken thinking she is no longer here.  She was an amazing listener and friend.  She truly impacted so many people and made the world a better place.  God called her home because she achieved his plan for her and hearing how many people she touched, I now understand.  

I have prayed you all have the peace that only God can give you as you have a loss that is so immense.

There have been so many memories that I have of Dana. My all time favorite memories are eating lunch together in high school. She always had such an infectious laugh and you  just couldn't help yourself. She would always tell it like it was. Joel and Haleigh,  my heart is breaking for you both!  I loved Dana!! She was just one of the sweetest people I knew.  Even though we moved out of Macon I still kept in touch through Facebook.  I know she loved her grand babies so much.  Just know that I am thinking of you both and prayers that God wraps his arms around you during this time.

Dana was so full of life. She made working fun. She was my buddy and someone I could talk to if I had something to get of my chest. We would share wonderful stories about our families and loved ones. She has helped me tremendously when it came to my job.  We had a saying before we departed, "Hey, I like you!" I sure do miss her laughs and craziness. She definitely left some foot prints on my heart! I will always cherish the memories of her. I will miss you but only until we meet again. I love you, my friend.

Dana would light up a room by just walking into it. Her laugh and quick wit were endearing. I'll miss her so much.

Dana made being at work so much fun. We laughed all the time but we got our work done. She made my 60th birthday  a special day also my retirement.  I will miss her so much.  She loved her family.
