Born in Adel, Georgia, Danise was the daughter of the late Doyle and Mary Anderson Mathis. She was a faithful member of Ingleside Baptist Church and worked as a hairdresser, a profession that allowed her to share her talents and touch the lives of many. Above all, Danise treasured her family. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt whose love, kindness, and caring spirit will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
Danise shared fifty-eight wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Billy Coleman. Her greatest joy was her family, and she cherished the special bonds she shared with each of them. She leaves behind a lifetime of precious memories that will continue to bring comfort and warmth to those who loved her.
In addition to her husband, Billy, Danise is survived by her son, Clay Coleman; her daughter, Terri Whitehead; her granddaughter, Abby Whitehead; her sister, Doylene (Ernie) Davis; her brothers, Rick (Elaine) Cucci and Tim (Lisa) Cucci; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service celebrating Danise's life will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery, with Dr. Mark Hudgins officiating. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Though Danise will be deeply missed, the love she shared and the memories she leaves behind will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
Snow’s @ Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
