David William Dees, 50, passed away Friday, March 17, 2017. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, March 26th from 2:00 until 4:00 PM at the residence of Karen Y. Mathis, 140 Woodmont Drive, Macon, Georgia 31216. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Shirley Wamsley to help offset expenses.
David was born in Macon the son of the late James Herbert Dees. He was an auto body technician for Hutchinson Auto Mall. David was preceded in death by his brothers, James Woodrow Dees and Gary Lee Jarvis, Jr.
David is survived by his mother, Shirley Bloodworth Dees Wamsley (Frank); daughter, Brianna Dees; step-daughter, Kayla Mattingly; brother, Charles Dees (Teresa); sister, Lynn Barker; step-brothers, Cliff & Kevin Wamsley; nieces and nephews, Budd Dees, Cyndi White, Charlie James Dees, Nolan Barker, and Lance Cummings; great-niece, Delana Reynolds; mother of Brianna, Karen Mathis.
