There is so much for a sister to share that I hardly know where to begin. He does share the talent for fixing things and sound systems with my recently deceased husband, John. He also shared an interest in Nikolai Tesla, whom both of them admired. For a high school science project David built a Tesla Coil. It sat on our porches between back and front and made fearsome looking sparks just like Tesla himself demonstrated. No one ever stole that thing from the front porch, as they did not know what it was and saw it only as a piece of junk. . It was really the microcosm for what could have been a valuable source of power using the earth’s magnetic field. I also remember the times when he was a teenager men at Hillcrest United Methodist Church would call when they did not have the key and needed a lock made available quickly, skill my mother had her doubts about but he only used it for good. He had a wonderful singing voice when we were high school age and had a lead solo part when our youth choir sang at one of the malls. At the rehearsal dinner before his wedding my husband John made a ball and chain for the groom and I made a house drudge ensemble for the bride with a key hidden in the pocket. When things were a bit stuffy we had the couple open the present and he actually tried it on. That was the end of stuffy. Maybe John can show The newest spirit being a bit of fun in God’s kingdom.
