With deep sadness, we announce that Deborah LeRoy peacefully fell asleep in death on July 6 at 5:15 p.m., surrounded by her loving family at home.
Deborah was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and dear friend. She was known for her kindness, warmth, and loving spirit, which touched the lives of all who knew her. She is survived by her beloved husband, Mark; her children, Sonny, Monique, Marky, Rosalie, and Sarah; her sister, Marie; her brother, Ricky; as well as many cherished grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Deborah found great joy in caring for her garden. She loved nurturing flowers and plants and found peace in watching them grow. Her garden reflected the qualities that defined her life—beauty, patience, love, and care.
Above all, Deborah was a woman of deep faith. She treasured the Bible’s promise found at Revelation 21:3, 4, which assures us of a future when “death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.” This hope strengthened her throughout her life and continues to comfort her family and friends.
Deborah will be remembered for her loving heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering devotion to her family. Yet she was much more than words on a page. To those who knew and loved her, she was a mighty warrior of faith, a loyal servant of Jehovah, and a champion for His holy name. Through her endurance, courage, and steadfast trust in Jehovah, she left an example of faith worthy of imitation.
While she is deeply missed, we find comfort in knowing that Deborah is safe in Jehovah’s perfect memory. Her name is written among His faithful servants, and we look forward with confidence to the day when Jehovah fulfills His promise and calls her back to life in His righteous new world.
Deborah’s life earned the deep respect and admiration of those closest to her. Her bravery in facing life’s challenges, her loyalty to Jehovah, and her love for others will not be forgotten. The legacy of her faith will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her. She leaves behind not only precious memories but also an enduring example of courage, faith, and devotion that her family and friends will always cherish.
“He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.”
— Isaiah 25:8
