Diane G. McDaniel, 67, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2026. A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Snow’s @ Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home, with Pastor Paul Dziadul officiating. The family will greet friends following the service.
Diane was born in Hazlehurst, Georgia, to the late Arthur and Flora Carter Gunnells. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Arthur “Butch” Gunnells and Billy Edwards.
Diane worked as a cashier at Walmart. She enjoyed reading, gardening, crafting, and cooking, but above all, she cherished the time she spent with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Jim Randy McDaniel of Lizella; her children, Rebecca Ann (Derek) Leslie and Jeremy Ross McDaniel; and her grandchildren, Nicole (Jackson) Killilea, Jackson Allen, Justin Leslie, and Ethan Leslie.
Snow’s @ Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
