Donnie Wayne Cumbie Sr.

Donnie spent his entire working life as a general contractor, a profession through which he built not only structures, but lasting relationships and a reputation for hard work, dedication, and craftsmanship. He took great pride in his work and was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to getting the job done right.

Preceded in death by his parents, Talmadge Hinson Cumbie Sr and Betty Lou Robson. Brother, Talmadge Cumbie Jr. and Daughter, Stephanie Miranda Cumbie.

Survived by Sister, Shirley Wood (Stacy). Daughter, Michelle Ford (Robert). Son, Donnie Cumbie Jr (Julia). Grandchildren, Stephanie Twilley, Meagan Doss (Garrett), Alyssa Warren (John), Joshua Twilley (Brianna), Robert Ford Jr (Songha), Michael Horton, Caleb Cumbie and four great grand children as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at Snow's Funerals and Cremations at Macon Memorial Park, located at 3969 Mercer University Drive, Macon, Georgia, 31204, on December 29, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. A celebration of his life will follow at Snow's at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel on the same day, beginning at 2:00 pm.

Donnie will be remembered for his steady presence, willingness to help others, and the values he lived by throughout his life. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to your local Kids Yule Love in honor of Donnie.
