

Donnie was born in Dublin, GA to the late John W. and Eloise Thomas Tucker. He was preceded in death by his siblings, C. J. “Buggs” Thomas, Sadie Thomas Hickman, Patricia Tucker Smith and Howard Wesley Tucker. Donnie served his country in the United States Army. Donnie was one of a kind. He was a selfless, patient, and caring man. His life’s work was being a loving husband of 45 years, marrying July 9, 1977. He was the Best Daddy a hero for his sons to look up to this also included his many railroad sons along the way. He worked for the railroad for over 40 plus years, he loved teaching the railroaders all the tricks of his trade. He was an amazing mechanic and he could fix anything. After his retirement, Donnie’s greatest joy in life was spending time with his grandbaby Emberlee and taking care of his yard. He was an avid gardener he took pride in his work and it showed.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, Carol H. Tucker of Macon, two sons, Jonathan (Courtney) Tucker, Jason (Katie) Tucker, and grandchildren, siblings, Billy Rogers, Wannie David Tucker, Ronnie (Nancy) Tucker, Connie Tucker (Nelson) Koskie, Johnny Al (Mary) Tucker, Edith Tucker Whitehurst and several nieces and nephews.
