Dorothy “Dottie” Marie Lamb Brock, 65, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2014. A Holy Rosary will be said on Friday, March 7, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with Father Alan McDonald officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until the hour of the Rosary. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Southeastern Newfoundland Rescue (www.sencrescue.org).
Dottie was born in Macon, Georgia to Dewey H. and Dorothy M. Cunningham Lamb. She was preceded in death by husband, Bobbie J. Brock, brothers; Curtis Lamb, Chris Lamb and sister; Sheila Schwab. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Dottie was a devoted and loving, daughter, sister, and aunt.
She is survived by her parents; Dewey H. and Dorothy M. Lamb, siblings; Maurice (Lilly) Lamb of Macon, Richard (Patricia) Lamb of Ellijay, Mary Ann Doyle of Macon, Carolyn Raines of Macon, and Katherine White of Jackson and numerous nieces and nephews.
