Dorothy “Dot” W. Bickley, 89, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 28, 2013. Funeral services and a celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 2:00 p.m. to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Bob Shell and Rev. Rex Odom officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon GA 31210.
Mrs. Bickley was born in Macon, GA to the late John William and Josephine Copeland Wright. She was preceded in death by her husband, John William Bickley. Mrs. Bickley was a charter member of Hillcrest United Methodist Church, she was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church and the Fellowship Sunday School Class. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Debbie (Ralph) Baggs of Macon, grandchildren, Brian Michael (Kecia) Baggs of Macon, Jennifer Ashley Baggs (fiancé) Drew Norris of Columbus and her “brother”, William Edward Toler of Savannah.
