Dorothy "Dot" Frances Wilkes Camp

Dorothy Frances Wilkes Camp, 90, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2018. Graveside services will be held in Northview Cemetery, 1225 N. Franklin Street, Dublin, Georgia 31021, on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 1:00pm with the Rev. Ron Holland officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Vineville Baptist Church, 2591 Vineville Avenue, Macon, Georgia, 31204, or organization of your choice.

Dorothy was born in Laurens County, Georgia to the late Arthur Wilkes and Lottie Beacham Wilkes Ward (W.V. Ward) and was preceded in death by her husband, David Camp, Sr.; son, David Camp, Jr. and brothers, Edward Wilkes and Irvin Wilkes. She was a lifelong member of Vineville Baptist Church where she was active in the Joy Sunday School Class.

Survivors include her son, Richard Everett Camp; grandchildren, Everett (Gretchen) Camp, Louisa Elaine Camp (James) Alderson, Wesley Camp and Brian Camp; sister, Billie Anne (Bob) Caswell; brother, William Ward; nieces, Patsy (Kenneth) Lindsey and Diane (Ken) Moorman; several other nieces and nephews; and her compassionate caretaker, Ms. Nadine McKenzie.
