Dorothy J. Willis, 85, passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2013. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Mausoleum Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Dr. Aubrey Sheats officiating. The family will meet friends on Friday, January 18, 2013 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home.
She was born in Chester, Georgia to the late Fred and Lillian Floyd. She was a former member of Second Baptist Church for over twenty years. Mrs. Willis was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church and was involved in Sunday School, WMU and a card ministry where she sent cards to the elderly, and those suffering from cancer. She never met a stranger, and she enjoyed life.
She is survived by her husband, Clinton M. Willis, Jr. of Macon, daughter, Peggy Etheridge of Macon, son, Paul (April) Willis of Macon, grandchildren, Dan, Clint, Amanda, Christopher, Christina and Kevin, great grandchildren, Kayden, Savannah, Michael, Charlie and Alyssa, sister, Velma Brown of Hawkinsville, GA and several nieces and nephews.
