Doyle Ellis Morris, 85, passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Chapel. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Lee Griffin officiating. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. to service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations, may be made to Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Youth Fund, 5455 Mt. Pleasant Church Road, Macon GA 31216.
Doyle was born in Kissimmee, Florida to the late Wadie Ernest and Velia Todd Morris. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Ann Cofield Morris. He served his country in the United States Army and was retired from Robins Air Force Base. Doyle was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. He was a devoted and loving father and grandfather.
He is survived by his son, Todd (Gem) Morris of Lizella and grandson, Patrick Morris of Macon.
