Mr. Smith was born in Scott, Georgia to the late Tom W. and Lucille Smith. He was retired from the Cotton Mill. He was a devoted father, brother, and uncle.
He is survived by his sisters, Bivian Royal of Lizella, Peggy Webb of Jones, Co., Irma Murch of Milledgeville, daughter, Linda Lacrox of Macon, son; Clois (Susan) Durden and several nieces and nephews.
