Edwin F. Judd, Sr., 90, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, December 28, 2018 surrounded by his family. A Celebration of his life will be held on Monday, December 31, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Bellevue Baptist Church. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Duggan and Dr. Neal Wall officiating. The family will greet friends on Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bellevue Baptist Church, Building Fund, 5925 Price Road, Macon GA 31220.

Edwin was born in Somerset, KY to the late James C. and Mary Jane Burchfield Judd. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Charles Judd, Jimmy Judd, Walter Judd, Bobby Judd, Ronnie Judd, Bill Judd and Tommy Judd. Edwin was a graduate of Lanier High School and attended University of Georgia. He served his country during World War II in the United States Navy, Printer First Class. Edwin worked for Burke Printing Co., Smith and Watson Printing, Dudley Hughes Vocational School, and Macon Herald. He was founder and owner of Judd Publishing Company where he was active in the business until the age of 89. He received the Legacy Award of Printing Industry Association of GA. He also received Teacher of the Year for Dudley Hughes. He was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church for over 70 years, where he served as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, and served on various committees in the church.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 70 years, Joyce Cox Judd, children, Connie J. (Charlie) Grinstead, Edwin F. (Patti) Judd, Jr., Joseph Clay Judd, Jennifer J. (Mardie) Herndon, nine grandchildren, Brian (Ann) Grinstead, Beth (Dave) Malone, Jessica (James) Davis, Charlie (Stephanie) Judd, Ben (Mary) Judd, Robert Judd, Maggie (JT) Royal, Mollie (John) Johnson, Kailyn Herndon, eleven great grandchildren, Judd Schlies, Caroline Grinstead, Cade Grinstead, Claire Grinstead, Ethan Davis, Sam Davis, Finley Davis, John Arnold Judd, Jillian Johnson, David Royal, Evelyn Johnson, sisters, Clara Davidson and Beverly Smith and also loved by many nieces and nephews.
