Elizabeth Garrett Dye, 78, passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018. A Celebration of her life will be held on Monday, December 31, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Paul Dziadul officiating. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. to service time at the funeral home.
Elizabeth was born in Macon, GA to the late Walter Alfred and Ouida Lee Watson Garrett, Sr. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Dye. Elizabeth was a graduate of Miller High School and was retired from Robins Air Force Base as an aircraft mechanic. She was a homemaker. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Lacy of Macon, grandchildren, Justin Lacy, Kristi Dye, and Eric Dye, twelve great grandchildren, brother, Walter Garrett of St. Louis, and brother-in-law, Jack Griggers of Macon.
