Elizabeth “Betsy” Mohr Meriwether, 90, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Monday, January 29, 2018. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Stephen N. Johnson and Rev. Glenn Clower officiating. The family will greet friends following the service. Burial will be private. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to the donor’s charity of choice.
Betsy was born in Sandersville, Georgia to the late Adna and Helen Everly Mohr and was preceded in death by her husband, William Wilson Meriwether, Jr. and daughter, Meri Meriwether Norris. She was co-owner of Bill Meriwether Photography and a member of Mabel White Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Bill (Jeanene) Meriwether; grandchildren, Meri (Mike) Moser, Wendi (Chad) Forbes, Summer Meriwether (Ricky West), Elizabeth (Devin) Dutton and Meri Christmas Meriwether; great grandchildren, Scott, Meri Ivy, Madeline, Thomas, CJ, Hunter, Sam, Gibson, Greysen and Jackson; niece, Mary (Bobby) Keys; another niece and several nephews.
