To all the family:
It saddened me to just now learn of Beth's passing.  We were cousins/friends but lost track of her over the years.  Though I've searched for her online previously without success; thought I'd try again, only to learn of her passing.  Sure would have been good to see & visit with her again after so long of a time.  She was always someone I looked up to & admired for her beauty inside & out.  She was a very sweet & soft spoken person whom I never forgot.  I pray that time will heal the hurt & pain of missing her; but that you will always cherish the precious memories she left with you to remember.

Beth, Don, Aunt Tootsie, (Pop's) and I were neighbors by location, but family by heart.  We have shared so many good times.  Restaurants, in the living room. in the garage, on the lawn  or in the driveway the interchange was always rich. 
Beth loved to talk and was versed in many subjects.  She often reminisced about Macon, her love of dancing and sharing information about a good movie she had seen. 
 She lived by the mantra of loving thy neighbor,  She was also the  quintessential mom.   Even before her illness Beth  would call Don 150 times a day, telling him to do one thing or another.  This was particularly true when it came to the care of  the yard and her flowers  that she loved so deeply.  Each call from mom Don immediately answered. 
Well Done Cousin,  She has obtained her wings  covered in love, dignity and pride.  God and Pops has welcomed her home.

You will be missed, “Elizabeth Rivers “. Going back nearly 28 years we have fond memories of times and places we visited,  shared, and enjoyed. From Dollywood and Gatlinburg to time spent at your home and ours we laughed heartily. Go rest high on that mountain until we meet again. Our love, Marilyn & Jim Wall.

I remember when I first met Beth. She was one of the most vibrant individuals I've ever met. Just full of amazing energy and positive attitude. Now I realize why Don turned out the way he did.. lol... because of his mother , he has so many of her unique qualities, one being her attitude towards everything. No matter the situation, even in hard times, they both never let negative situations overcome them and always found a silver lining in the cloud. 

If you ever been to Beth house, then you know she is not letting you leave without a story to share! And she never held anything back, weather it embarrassed anyone or not,,, you were going to hear it! (✿◠‿◠). 

I will miss her hospitality and her pies, may you rest in peace and thank you for giving us Pappa D! 🙏🏼😇🥧👩🏼‍🦰🕊️ TY!

These two ladies had much fun together. The early morning chats over coffee after they got the kids off to school in the 1970’s Shurlington days. Several camping trips to the beach when all of us children were young.  A cruise to the Bahamas just for the couples with Mom & Beth traveling in back seat to talk and Daddy & Richard in front seat on drive to Florida. The foursome also went to see Elvis at the Macon Coliseum. I’d love to share all my memories but to do that I’d have to write a book!

Deepest Condolences Don, Chan, and grandchildren... Beth will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her. She was a dear, sweet friend of our family for about as long as I can remember!  It definitely dates back to when she was in her 20's!!! Mama and I enjoyed many phone conversations over the last few years since neither of them had been getting out much. I would put them on speaker phone and the three of us could talk for a couple of hours. Beth was never at a loss for words and she was usually funny unless someone had gotten on her bad side (which was rare). Since Mama has been in assisted living, Beth often called on me to help fill her alone time  and I loved hearing her talk about the past and all the fun times she shared with my parents.  Heaven gained a special Angel.

Beth was a very special person full of love and life. I remember her well at Vaishali‘s wedding. She and Charles both embraced all celebrations  with vigour. I also remember how good she and Charles were as dance partners. It was a joy to watch them. I know that they will now be reunited in heaven and together again.  It is always a great loss when one loses a mother. Don  you were so blessed to have her for such a long time. Beth was blessed to have you as her son. You took such good care of her until the very end. Now she will look over you as one of your angels.

Beth was like a mother to me. Her love, her steady support, and her endless kindness were some of the greatest gifts I’ve ever received. She had this beautiful way of making everyone feel seen and valued and with her.

She may not have been my mother by birth, but she filled that place in my heart with such grace and warmth.  and her love will stay with me for the rest of my life.

My husband and I met Beth through her son Don. It was an honor to have known such a sweet and humble person. We went and visited with her and Don in February, and we had great conversation. She came with Don to visit us one summer and we laughed so hard we cried.  We will miss Beth, but we know we will see her again one day. Rest in peace.
