Evelyn Stanley Foster, 67, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023. A Celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, March 9. 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Snow’s @ Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will greet friends on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Evelyn was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Arthur J. and Margaret Thomas Stanley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth R. Foster. Evelyn worked as an LPN at the Oaks @ Peake. She enjoyed crafting and crocheting in her spare time. She was a devoted and loving mother, sister and aunt.
She is survived by her son, Gary (Kimberly) Foster of Stephenville, TX, three sisters, Juanita Watson of Macon, Frances (Dwight) Smith of Musella, Mary Scott of Forsyth, several nieces and nephews, and her beloved pets, Precious and Rusty.
