

Faye Magouirk Gledhill, 93, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, February 12, 2024. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Snow’s @ Macon Memorial Park. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Mark Grinstead officiating. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. to service time at the funeral home.
Faye was born in Fairfax, Alabama to the late Jesse Enoch and Permillie Spraggins Magouirk. She was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Magourik and sister, Gloria Asbell. Faye was a former member of West Highland Baptist Church and Lakeview Baptist Church, where she was involved in Sunday School, Hospitality Committee, Wednesday Nights Meals, and working in the nursey. She is a member of Gilead Baptist Church. Faye was a member of the Macon Motor Boat Club and was an advisor for the BOL Sorority in the 1970’s. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation and care given to Faye, by Regency Southern Hospice and her sitters, Brenda Sinclair, Glenda Summers, Tiffany Robinson and her niece, Susan Wright.
She is survived by her husband of seventy-one years, Dell D. Gledhill of Macon, three daughters, Pam Gledhill of Macon, Beth Gledhill (Dudley Shannon) of Macon, Judy Dell Gledhill of Macon, two granddaughters, Caroline Powell (Carl) Craven of Macon and Hailey (Lawrence) Adams of Warner Robins, a great grandbaby due in September, sister, Shirley Mayo, and several nieces and nephews.
