Frances Carr, 79, went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 26, 2016. A Celebration of her Life will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Reverend John Sheeley officiating. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends Monday, February 29, 2016 with a reception from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the Northridge Baptist Church Building Fund, 2360 Gray Hwy, Macon, GA 31211.
Mrs. Carr was born in Opelika, AL to the late Charlie Fincher and Ada Norrell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Carr. Mrs. Carr was retired from Cross Keys Baptist Church Daycare. She was a member of Northridge Baptist Church and was a part of the Hill Toppers group and the Joy Sunday School Class. The Joy Sunday School Class are asked to sit in an honorary group at the service.
She is survived by her daughter, Tammie Carr; son, Michael Carr; two grandchildren, Kelli Carr, and Kasey Carr (Jenny); sister, Jeannie Armstrong; brother, Jerry Fincher; several nieces and nephews.
