Frances Carr Carter, 69, passed away Friday, July 19, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Benny Turner will officiate. The family will greet friends from 6 until 8 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Carter was born in Tifton, Georgia and had lived in Middle Georgia for most of her life. She was a self-employed cosmetologist and was of the Baptist Faith. Mrs. Carter was the widow of Ronald L. Carter and the daughter of the late Annie Ruth Green Carr and Allen Avery Carr.
Mrs. Carter is survived by her sons, Timothy Alvin Johnson and Anthony Wayne Carter (Tammy); grandchildren including, Chancelor Brinson Carter, T. J. Johnson, Brandon Johnson, Justin Johnson, and Chelsea Johnson; great-grandchildren; siblings, Buster Carr (Glenda), Tommy Carr (Jackie), Phyllis Tucker, and Greg Trammell; several nieces & nephews.
