Macon, GA- Frances Nims Tucker, 80, passed away Monday, November 26, 2012 at her residence surrounded by her family. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday in the Mausoleum Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Rex Odom will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society , 804 Cherry Street, Macon 31201.
Mrs. Tucker, wife of the late Donald Matthew Tucker, Sr., was born in Fort Mill, SC, the daughter of the late Fredrick Nims, Jr. and Mammie Jack Massey Nims. She was a devoted homemaker, mother, grandmother and sister.
Survivors include her sons, Donald Matthew and Mickey Tucker, Jr. of Hanahan, SC and Mark Nims Tucker of Forsyth; her daughter, Sandra Lynn Cummins of Macon; six grandchildren and two sisters, Isabelle Douglas of Fort Mill, SC and Cody Winchester of Charlotte, NC.
