Frances Yarbrough, 73, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2026. A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, November 8, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
Frances was born in Gainesville, Florida to the late Albert Junior and Thelma Batten Yarbrough. She was preceded in death by her brother, James A. Yarbrough, and sister, Rose Ann Yarbrough.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Frances retired as a Media Specialist with the Board of Education in Macon County.
She is survived by her children, Wyatt R. (Adeen) Woolverton, Wesley M. (Stephanie) Woolverton, Gladys E. Woolverton, grandchildren, Nathen Woolverton, Jacob Woolverton, Luke Woolverton, Holly Woolverton, Brenden Woolverton, and Anna Woolverton and several nieces and nephews.
