Gladys Mildred Barfield Mobley, 100, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 13, 2021. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Ron Watson officiating. Facemask and social distancing are required.
Gladys was born in Macon, County to the late William Lonnie and Lola Barfield. She was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Mobley. Gladys was a former member West Highlands Baptist Church and Hillcrest Heights United Methodist Church and Heritage United Methodist Church. She was a devoted and loving aunt.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; great great nieces and nephews; great great great nieces and nephews; and a great great great great niece.
