Gladys Huffman Rikard, 86, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Monday, October 1, 2018. Graveside services will be held Sunday, October 7, 2018 at 2:00pm in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Dr. D. Craig Rikard officiating. The family will greet friends from 1:00pm until 1:45pm at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Gladys was born in Williamson, Georgia to the late Alfred and Mattie Evans Thomas and was preceded in death by her husband, Denver Rikard; daughter, Jenny Rikard; and nephew, Steven Ryan Taylor. She was a Secretary at Packaging Corporation of America and a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church, where she also served as a Secretary. Gladys was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend.
Survivors include her children, Melvin (Sheila) Huffman and their children, Craig (Gail) Rikard, Penny Rikard and Robin MacKinnon; grandchildren, Chris (Becky) Rikard, Heather Blair and Paige Rikard; great grandchildren, Kamdyn Blair, Cason Rikard and Fallyn Rikard; and sister, Doris Taylor.
