Glenda Ruth Brooks, 77, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2024. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Snow’s at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with Pastor Johnny Baggett officiating. The family will greet friends after the service and there will be a private burial at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.
Glenda was born in Tifton, Georgia to the late Ruth and William Lyons. She enjoyed gardening and working with beautiful flowers. Glenda loved animals, especially her parakeets and dogs. As a woman of the Baptist faith she attended Bethel Baptist church. Glenda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be missed by all.
Glenda was preceded in death by her son, Robert Timothy Brooks.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Robert Brooks; daughters, Pam Shell (Donald) and April Prater (Tommy); 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
