Madison, GA- Ms. Grace C. Thomas, 94, formerly of Macon, died Tuesday, April 4, 2017. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 11 at 1 o'clock, in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Dr. Israel Cox will officiate. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.
Ms. Thomas was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Edgar, Sr. and Frances Modena Thomas. She retired from Robins Air Force Base after 34 years as a secretary and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Ms. Thomas was an alumnus of Mt. De Sales Academy, and the matriarch of 5 living generations. She was preceded in death by her brother, Edgar Thomas, Jr.
Survivors include her brother, Joe (Margaret) Modena; niece, Kay (Coley) Lovejoy; nephew Ricky (Carmen) Thomas; niece Kim (Tony) Lott; 7 great nieces and nephews; 6 great great nieces and nephews; 1 great great great nephew.
