Grace Laverne Wright, 93, wife of A.W. Wright Jr. and mother of Vickie, A.W. III, Melanie, and Teri, went to be with Jesus on Saturday, July 19, 2025. Her final moments were spent peacefully in her home.
A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Snow’s @ Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 1:30 p.m. to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be private at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Sean Beck officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to Camp Grace, 2559 Walkers Chapel Road, Roberta GA 31078.
Grace was known for her faith in Jesus Christ and her yard work. She will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, A.W. Wright, Jr. and her daughter, Vickie Wright and son-in-law, Raymond Ross.
She is survived by her children, A.W. and Lisa Wright, Melanie and Jim Monroe, and Teri Ross, her grandchildren, Matt and Uma Wright, Jonathan and Kathryn Wright, Jay and Karen Ross, Wes and Allison Ross, her great grandchildren, Mason, Ty, Mayta, Mary Kathryn, William, Harrison, Amelia, Ethan, Jacob, Ezra and Saylor and her sister, Virginia Burns.
