Hazel Powell Brooks, 88, a life-long resident of Macon, passed away on December 20, 2025. She will be remembered for her fun, loving, and outgoing personality. Hazel was an all-around joker, who could be seen laughing and talking throughout the day. She had a love for animals and would take care of all the cats and dogs in her neighborhood.
She has joined in Heaven her loving husband, Walter George Brooks; her twin children, Jimmy Powell and Brenda Powell; her three sisters, Sue, Ruby, and Barbara Ann; her two brothers, James “Buddy” Neal and William Neal, Jr.; and her parents, William and Cora Neal.
