

Hazel Faye Harber Wall, 93, died on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Pine Pointe Hospice. Funeral services and a celebration of her life will be held on Monday, January 16, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Ebenezer United Methodist Church with Rev. Derek McAleer, Rev. Jimmy Duke and Rev. John Beck officiating. Burial will follow at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Sunday, January 15, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Central Georgia, 6261 Peake Road, Macon GA 31210.
Hazel was the daughter of the late John and Myrtle Mize Harber and was born on October 8, 1919 in Franklin County, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband Sanders Nolan Wall. She attended Habersham College in Clarksville, Georgia. After moving to Macon, Georgia in 1956 she became a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church where she held several offices’s, served on many committees, Methodist Women Club and was a Sunday School teacher.
The family would like to recognize and give a special “Thank-you” to the staff and friends at Magnolia Manor, John Wesley Villas where Hazel resided after her husband, Nolan passed away in April 2002. Also, to the staff at Pine Pointe Hospice for the care given to Mrs. Wall.
She is survived by her three sons; James (Bonnie) Wall, Ken (Rhonda) Wall and Stanley (Terri) Wall, eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
