Helen Marie Suarez, 65, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2015 after a long illness. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends an hour prior to the service.
Helen was born in Macon, Georgia to the late John and Margie McCranie Pollard and predeceased by husbands, James Broadnax and Frank Quenga. She was Clerk of the Board Services Specialist in Orange County, California and was a member of the Baptist faith. Helen enjoyed shopping and cooking and was always smiling and would help anyone in need. She was a loving and faithful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend.
Survivors include her children, James (Lisa) Broadnax, Ken (Jamie) Quenga, John (Monet) Quenga, and Joseph (Julie-deceased) Quenga; grandchildren, Nicole and Margie Broadnax, Joshua, Chris, Shawn, Tori, Ryan, Justin, Macy and Marissa Quenga; great grandchild, Jack; siblings, Sue Payne and Thomas Pollard; and ex-husband, Emilio Suarez.
