Helen C. Williams

Helen Chapman Williams, 93, passed away Monday, August 6, 2018. A celebration of her life will be held Thursday, August 9, 2018 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with Pastor John Irwin officiating. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 1:00pm until the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dixon United Methodist Church, 6637 Sandy Point Road, Lizella, Georgia, 31052.

Helen was born in Roberta, Georgia to the late David and Naomi Hudson Chapman and was preceded in death by her husband, James Williams and grandson, Paul Noe. She was retired from Hancock Fabrics and was a member of Dixon United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her children, Jan English, Dan Williams, Pam Ellis and Donna (Matt) McBride; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and siblings, June Mullis and Buddy (Lonna) Chapman.

I would like to send my sympathy to the family of Helen Williams,. My mom Blanche Anderson worked with Helen at Milan's Fabric Center for several years and I remember Miss Helen from there as well. Always had a smile on her face .

Dan, Pam, Jan & Donna, I am so very sorry for your loss. It's extremely hard to lose your mother. Helen was a wonderful woman. I wish I could be there for the services but I can't. I know that God will give you the strength and comfort you need now and in the future. Hang on to your memories. Please know that you are all on my heart and in my prayers. Love you all.
