Henry Willis Wilder, 89, passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2016. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Mac Goddard officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to donor’s favorite charity.
Mr. Wilder was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Oscar Owen and Laura Watson Wilder. He served his country during World War II in the United States Navy and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Wilder was a member of Boilermaker Local #26 Savannah for sixty five years. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle.
He is survived by his wife of sixty eight years, Mary Ann Wilder, his children, Debbie and Durry Faulk, Linda Wilder and David Hobbs, grandchildren, Trey and Jennifer Payne, Kaley and Adam Wicks, Brianna Rodriguez, Samanntha Wilder-Kneebone, great grandchildren, Cameron Carstarphen, Henry Tyler Payne, Wade Wicks, Hardy Hudson and Liam Rodriguez, sister, Martha Ann Bass, brother, Harry and Frances Wilder and several nieces and nephews and many friends.
