Herbert Louie Jarriel, 89, of Macon, Georgia passed away Friday, April 3, 2026. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in Lizella Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Chris Minton will officiate. The family will have time of visitation Wednesday, April 8, 2026, from 10 a.m. till service time in the church.
Born in Lyons, Georgia, he was the son of the late Claude and Edna Hamlin Jarriel. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Margaret Ann Raines Jarriel and a grandson, Wade Jarriel.
Mr. Jarriel was a retired sheet metal fabricator, having worked with L. E. Schwartz for over 28 years and for himself with Jarriel Sheet Metal. He was a member of the Lizella Baptist Church, where he attended Glen Talbert’s Sunday School Class and was a proud member of the Country Boy Plow Club for over 12years.
He is survived by his children, Steven Ray Jarriel, Kelly Jarriel (Susan), and Stephanie McCallum (Eric); Grandchildren, Clint Jarriel (Amy), Lee Jarriel (Morgan), Angel Mays (Garrett), Rayven Jarriel, Stevie Jarriel, Heath Jarriel (Makenna), Kell Jarriel (Dabni), Jacob McCallum (Joanna); Nine great grandchildren; Siblings, Claudine Varner (Stan), and Ethel Rumney.
Snows at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
