Hilda Addleton Mixon, 88, died Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at a local hospital. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 31, 2014 at 11:00am at Macon Memorial Park Chapel with Hubert Addleton officiating. The family will greet friends Thursday, October 30, 2014 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Mixon was born in Jones County, Georgia to the late Ben L. and Bessie Addleton and was preceded in death by her husband, Buck Mixon. She was a member of the Willingham Mill Church Group and Keebler Retirees and enjoyed puzzles and canning.
Mrs. Mixon is survived by her children, Renee and Norman Manning Jr. and Ricky and Nena Mixon; grandchildren, Ronda and Rica Manning; great grandchildren, Gabe, Micah, and Gabriele Thornton; brothers, Hubert and B.L. Addleton; sister, Helen Tucker; several nieces and nephews, and dog, Shelby.
