Huldah E. Simpson

Huldah E. Simpson, 94, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, September 23, 2013. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, September 27, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will meet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Ron Holland officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vineville Baptist Church, 2591 Vineville Ave., Macon GA 31201.

Mrs. Simpson was born in Crisp County, Georgia to the late Rufus and Minnie L. Ellis. She was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Simpson, Jr., son, Roger Larry Taylor, step-son, Billy Simpson, step grandchild, Joseph Simpson, and great grandchild, Jason Schultz, brothers, Marvin Ellis, Charles Ellis, Leonard Ellis and sister, Doris Sirmans. Mrs. Simpson was a member of Vineville Baptist Church and formerly lived at Magnolia Manor. She was a devoted and loving, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister.

She is survived by her son, Harold (Martha Ann) Taylor of Moore, SC, five grandchildren, Christy T. (Burt) Newsome, Tracy T. (Glenn) Puckett, Starla T. (Johnny) Davis, Jori T. (Chris) Golden, Tina T. (Craig) Ward, two step grandchildren, William A. Simpson, III and Daniel Simpson, great grandchildren, Brett Newsome, Shaun Newsome, Justin Puckett, Jonathan Puckett, Bailee Davis, Taylor Davis, Luke Golden, Riley Golden and Ferris Ward, and great great grandchild, Caroline Puckett and sisters, Betty Wade and Ernestine Dalton and several nieces and nephews.
