Jacqueline Joyce Andrews, 76, passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2012. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 27, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be private in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Dr. John Beck officiating. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. to service time at the funeral home. Donations may be made to Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 4600 Mercer University Drive, Macon GA 31204.
Miss Andrews was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Elmer Edward Roy and Ella Laurie Posey Andrews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Alton Andrews, E.P. Andrews, Roy Andrews, Leo Andrews, and Jimmy Andrews and her sisters, Evelyn Bankston and Laurie Reeves. She was a graduate of A.L. Miller High School and attended Wyche Conservatory of Music. She was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church and was very active in the choir and was church pianist for many years.
Ms. Andrews was an administrative assistant for Howard, McDuffie and Moore Certified Public Accountants.
She is survived by her sister, Martha Purvis of Macon, and several nieces and nephews, including Sandra Doolittle Bowen, and great nieces and nephews.
