James “Ronnie” Bennett Sr., 71, passed away March 14, 2023. A Visitation will be held Friday, March 17, 2023 at Snow’s Funerals and Cremations at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Snow’s Funerals and Cremations at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Paul Dziadul officiating. Interment will be held in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery immediately following the service.
Mr. Bennett was born in Cordele, Georgia on February 9, 1952 to Bob Bennett Sr. and Lizzie Mae Barefoot Powers. He was the owner and operator of Bennett Cabinet Shop for many years. He was an avid football fan, especially the Falcons. He also enjoyed Nascar racing. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother.
He is preceded in death by his sons, Jason Alfred Bennett and James R. Bennett, Jr.; and granddaughter, Summer Bennett.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Warrick Bennett; daughter, April Bennett (Bruce Taylor); brothers, Bob Willard Bennett Jr. (Steve Conway) and Stanley Powers (Tracy); sister, Dianne Bennett; sister-in-law, Ruth Sherrell (Jeff); grandchild, Keyana Jarrell; and great grandson, Jayden Bennett.
