James Elmer Forrester, 75, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2011 in a local hospital. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Sonny Stovall officiating. The family will meet friends from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at the funeral home.
Mr. Forrester, son of the late Elton Lee and Addieree Beard Forrester, was born in Grangerburg, AL. He was preceded in death by his wife of fifty three years, Jerrie Stewart Forrester who passed away in January 2011. He had lived in Macon since 1983, moving here from Chesterfield, VA and was a machine operator retired from Brown and Williamson after thirty four years of service.
Survivors include his daughters, Linda (Robert) Toone of Chesterfield, VA and Kathy Daniels, fiancé (Jesse Long) of Macon; her sons, Teddy Forrester and Eddie Forrester, all of Macon; seven grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.
