One of the sweetest people I’ve ever known. He always called me Princess Di every time he saw me. He loved my girls dearly and was a wonderful friend to both Tom and myself. We are better for having known him and his love. Prayers to your family. In our hearts forever

Some people leave beautiful memories in our heart, others leave lasting footprints in our soul. Than you for the footprints Jamey. Give my girl a big ole forehead kiss when you see her and tell her Mama misses her so very much. You two behave.

Jamey Long was one of a kind. 💔 We can all learn from him. I certainly did.

Jamey was the absolute nicest person from all the memories of my childhood in south Macon. He was always uplifting and positive, and made it a priority to bring a bit of humor to every conversation. Jamey was the kind of person to always reach out to let others know he was thinking of them. I hope my sons grow up with a huge for others, like Jamey Long.

My deepest condolences and hope for healing for Jody, Ms. Linda, and all of Jamey's family and friends.

Jamey, the kindest soul I have ever met. We first met when my daughter JoJo was 4, Jamey and Larry coached her Tball team. Jamey and JoJo bonded instantly! He spoiled her rotten, just as he did every kid he coached! I have witnessed Jamey buy gloves for kids that he thought needed them and never expected anything in return. Just because he knew their glove was to small. His heart is as wide as the ocean and there will never be another person as special. You will be missed Jamey, I hope you know how much you were loved.

Jamey I was so privileged to get to know you better over the spring and summer. I was even privileged enough to get a forehead kiss and sing every song on your play list with you. I feel so cheated out of a longer friendship ! Rest easy in the arms of our Lord . I hope God sends many more like you, this world would be a much better place. Until we meet again !
