James C. Roach, 61, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2013. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Pat Cramer officiating. The family will meet friends on Monday, May 27, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Mr. Roach was born in Macon, Georgia to the late James Ira and Mozelle Roach. He was preceded in death by his sister, JoAnn Howell. He was a retired truck driver. Mr. Roach was very active in AA for the past twenty years and enjoyed western movies and facebook. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle.
He is survived by his wife of twenty two years, Jeanette D. Roach of Roberta, son, Skip Jenkins of Macon, daughters, Deena (David) Becham of Lizella, Cheryl (Russell) Wimberly of Macon, ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren, three sisters, Hazel Parker of Roberta, Jackie (Alvin) Sapp of Dry Branch, Wynette Graham of Montrose and several nieces and nephews.
